Synopsis:


TWO SHOCKING AND UNEXPECTED FATES (ENDINGS)! ONE HERO WHO IS WORRIEDLY DESPERATE, AND UNQUESTIONABLY DOOMED! ONE TRUE END TO RESOLVE IT ALL!

The year is 2142. Many from the world Earth have ventured off to other terraformable planets and have made new locations of home for themselves and their respective nations. One man, Jared Tauldren, is one of the second-generation persons who happens to be questioning where this way of life will take him and the rest of humanity who came with him.

One day, while on a self-sanctioned military mission to rescue a renown scientist back from the terrorists know as the 'Irethrobs'- he comes into contact with a dark, symbiotic substance that starts to affect every aspect of his life. He's only hope of riding himself of it is to travel to a forsaken isle's dark and intricate dwellings- which harbors mankinds greatest fears. In his search for peace, he must combat enemies which utilize the same darkness that infects him- and in order to do that, he must go deep inside the isle and confront it's dark origins in order to save himself.

He'll discover that there are dark connections to his past- ties that will divide his heart in two- and leave him with an uneasy, but simple choice: a choice to save himself, or to save the world. However, by the 'choice' that he makes, he learns a very valuable law: for every choice, a consequence. For every cause, an effect- but when he does, it will be all too late.

There's an old man he gets advise from, in which he believes that Jared will die, and that Fate will get the final smack down.

The origins of the isle are very well tied with the origins of himself. And instead of finding them, they will find him. He's saved people; he's protected his city; he's guarded his nation from disasters, but in the end, he will loose...the world.

Jared Tauldren:

* Part of the US Space Armed Forces.
* The Main Character of the Story.
* Male
* In His 20's.
* Audition lines: 1) (pondering): 'What is 'Gysx'? Sound like something mysterious- something sinister.' 2) (irritated; afraid)
'I don't even know you!' 3) (desperate; very impatient) 'TELL ME THE TRUTH! I can't take it anymore.'


Dark Jared:

* Jared's Second Personality of His Split-Mind. It was caused by the physical, symbiotic, merger of the Gysxwraith and Jared.
* Male (of course).
* Has a very alien-like, moderate-toned (not high, not low) voice. Very sarcastic; Joker-esque in his tone, but not in form (like with the attitude, but not slurring his words, per se, in a weird way, but carrying that attitude). Here's a short clip of a game that would be very influential.
* Audition Line: 'I'm shaping you into the perfect organism. Soon! Your superior side will shine through like the sun, and glisten like the soft glares of the moon's light. Think of me as your better part. Fleshing out your fury, your aggressiveness, your selfish and malevolent ways, all of which are taking bodily form and substance. Your passion and anger for the lusts of this world serves only to fuel me- your infliction of pain and suffering nourishes me. '


Mythrah:

* The Empress of the Eposodian Isle of Mystica. She's the co-creator of the Gysx (normal Gysx just infects the hosts, and acts as a very-rapid version of an autoimmune disease, and kills or taints anything it touches; the Gysxwraiths do the same, except they only symbiotically attach themselves onto their hosts, and they modify the normal versions of the host's personality, and reproduces a corrupt-version of it for their own use. And, they don't kill the host, but take over in ever physical and mental way). Jared is self-tasked in finding the antidote from her...but at what cost!?
* An Important role, but with questionably short lines, and not a lot of them to do.
* Jared's Main Antithesis.
* Age Unknown; Though, She Has the Appearance of a Young Woman.
* Audition lines: 1) (declaring): 'I am the empress of this Isle, and I'll remain the empress of this isle.' 2) (angered; arrogant) 'You miserable fool! This ends today. This ends now!'


The Advisor:

* Mysterious; Dark. Speaks In Code, And Acts Like An Oracle Though He Is Not.
* Male.
* Role is a very big one! A short amount of lines- all of which are long, or where emphasis is needed at best.
* Has a dark; mysteriously deep, and enchanting voice.
* Very Old- Age Unknown.
* Audition Line (I know it's long, but most of his short amount of lines are): ''Impossible' you say? Why, nothing's really impossible if you put your faith into it. For when men are faced with impending death, there instinctive will to survive- there...ability to fight back is one of the most astounding aspects of reality. You mustn't give up on hope.'


Michael Dutton:

* A prestigious terraform-research scientist who gets captured by the Irethrobs.
* Male.
* Very Small Role.
* Age: In his 40's.
* Audition Line: (responding to Jared's angst): 'Yeah, yeah...but you’re hurt. Let’s be going so that we can both get medical attention.'


Novacom News Reporter Toni Jones:

* News Reporter.
* Female.
* Minuscule role. With only one long line to do (part of it is shown below).
* Age: Mid-Twenties (young woman).
* Audition line: 'We have recent and oncoming reports that feasibly tell us that the main research head- Michael Dutton- has been kidnapped, and is nowhere to be found. However, like the terrorists on earth, we have discovered that people have taken responsibility for this threat. However, we cannot disclose that information at that time. Tony Jones reporting here...Novacom News.'


Space Armed Forces Guys:

* These all short roles. They all share one line. They're all males. And I need three people to do this line. And when the movie comes out, you'll here three distinct voices shouting it.
* Audition Line: 'Sir, yes sir.'


Lark:

* A very deranged individual; much like in appearance to Carnage from the Spider-Man series.
* Male.
* Age: 30's.
* He's infected with a Gysxwraith like Jared, but has quickly conformed to it's influence- which he already had himself when it attached itself- forming the perfect criminal couple.
* Has a very high-pitched, deranged and dementedly sadistic voice.
* Audition Lines: 1) 'What color do you bleed!?' 2) 'Die! Die! Die you freakin' bastard! You don't deserve the power that I have!'


Niello:

* A mystery role.
* Of high importance, but has a few lines, with little to say in them.
* Audition Line: (Talking down on Jared): 'I told you Jared: all that was yours would be justly mine, and mine...it has become!'

ODYSSEY CASTING CALL

Role: Lieutenant Commander Sira M'raal, the new Chief Medical Officer.

A noble-caste Cai-Tar who specialises in human medicine, Doctor M'raal joins the crew of the United Stellar Ship Odyssey, fresh from her stint aboard a smaller vessel, and must find her niche on the ship. Her initial meeting with the Captain does not go well, and it appears that she has issues with her position aboard. What will be unveiled about her, and the other characters? You'll have to wait until early 2009 to find out!

Or, alternatively, approach me about the part! There are two stipulations:-

1) Must be female (kinda obvious, really, given that she is a... well, a she!)

2) Must be capable of sending in a PM via these goodly forums.

(I said there were two stipulations; I didn't say they were HARD )

Drop me a line if you're interested and we can discuss the part further. Lines won't be required for a few weeks yet, so there is no immediate pressure on you for this, don't worry!
